Welcome To Advanced Surgical Associates

At Advanced Surgical Associates Dental Implants & Oral Surgery, we understand that choosing to see an oral surgeon can be a significant decision. However, neglecting oral health concerns can have detrimental consequences, affecting your overall well-being and quality of life.

Oral surgery plays a crucial role in maintaining oral health and addressing complex dental issues that cannot be resolved with traditional methods.

Your first visit marks the first step towards achieving your optimal oral health. It’s an opportunity to:

  • Discuss your concerns: Meet our experienced oral surgeons and openly discuss your specific needs, concerns, and desired outcomes.
  • Receive a comprehensive evaluation: We will conduct a thorough examination of your oral cavity, including taking necessary X-rays and scans, to obtain a complete picture of your oral health.
  • Understand your options: Based on the evaluation, our oral surgeon will explain your diagnosis in detail and discuss the various treatment options available, ensuring you are informed and empowered to make informed decisions about your care.
  • Develop a personalized plan: We will work closely with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs, preferences, and lifestyle.
  • Experience compassionate care: Our team provides a welcoming and supportive environment, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident throughout your journey towards optimal oral health.

Preparing for Your First Visit

To ensure a smooth and informative first visit, we kindly ask that you bring the following items:

Important Documents:

  • Medical history: Please provide a list of your current medications, allergies, and any pre-existing medical conditions.
  • Insurance information: Bring your insurance card and any necessary paperwork related to your coverage.
  • Referral forms: If you were referred to our practice by another dentist or physician, please bring the referral form with you.
  • Previous X-rays or imaging scans: If you have any recent X-rays or imaging scans of your teeth and jaw, please share them with us for a more comprehensive evaluation.

We encourage you to come prepared with a list of questions you have about your oral health concerns or the upcoming procedure. This may include questions about:

  • The specific procedure you are considering and its benefits and risks.
  • Post-operative instructions and pain management options.
  • Expected recovery time and any limitations following the procedure.
  • Financial aspects and insurance coverage.

What To Expect At Your First Visit

Upon arrival, our friendly and welcoming staff will greet you and assist you with any paperwork. We encourage you to arrive a few minutes early to complete any necessary forms.

One of our oral surgeons will begin by reviewing your medical history, including any pre-existing conditions, allergies, medications you are currently taking, and any previous surgeries you have undergone. This information is crucial for ensuring your safety and tailoring the treatment plan to your specific needs. Feel free to ask any questions you may have during this process.

Our oral surgeons will then perform a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and jaw. This may involve taking X-rays or other diagnostic imaging scans to obtain a complete picture of your oral health. We utilize advanced technology and equipment to ensure the most accurate diagnosis possible.

Once the examination is complete, we’ll discuss your diagnosis and explain the available treatment options in detail. They will take the time to answer all your questions and address any concerns you may have. Our goal is to provide you with all the information you need to make informed decisions about your oral health care.

Our patient care coordinator will discuss the financial aspects of your proposed treatment. They will provide you with a clear breakdown of your costs and explain your insurance coverage options. We work with various insurance providers and offer flexible payment plans to make your treatment affordable.

We understand that visiting an oral surgeon can be a new experience. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that your first visit is comfortable, informative, and productive. We are here to answer your questions, address your concerns, and guide you every step of the way towards optimal oral health.
